Ottens seafood was born from the passion of its founder Magnus Ottenborn. He was born in the Island of Tjörn the seventh largest Island in Sweden named one of the 10 most untouched places in the world. His dad from the coastal region and the fishing culture and his mother from the interior of the land owned pastures, raised livestock and harvest crops off the land. His origins brought him gratitude for what nature had to offer and his broad hands-on experience and compassion for animals translated in sustainable practices when he started his company.
His studies in food quality management rendered a wholesome knowledge of how food shall be properly gathered at scale and handled to maximize its quality and flavor.
Otten’s distributes today five million ponds of products per year to different food establishments and Magnus faithful to his origins still stands proud each piece sold and served providing what we call a soul to table experience.
